About two years ago i was trying to think of something i could do with my three boys that would help us make memories together as Father and Sons. What came to mind was going fishing , hiking, and exploring the outdoors of the Sipsey Swamp area in Fayette County Alabama where I grew up. That swamp had alligators, bears, bobcats, and deer. When i went hunting, fishing or exploring there it made think of pioneers like Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone.
So i got with Pastor MIlan at our church who also is into the outdoors and asked him about starting a Boy Scout Troop at our church and the rest is history.
